The Hogan Suite.

What is The Hogan Suite?

The Hogan Suite of instruments encompasses multiple psychometric measures and assessments catered specifically to business. Through personality assessment of strengths, weaknesses, values and problem-solving approaches, an individual’s possible performance in the workplace can be evaluated.

The instruments within the Hogan Suite can be used individually or together and comprise the Hogan Personality Inventory, the Hogan Development Survey, and the Motivations, Values and Preferences Inventory.

Hogan also supply the Leadership Versatility Index (LVI), aimed at gaining results through leadership using a 360 method of feedback based on extensive research and senior expertise.

Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI)

The HPI, similar to NEO, is based on a five factor model of personality, and describes the everyday ‘bright-side’ personality of an individual. This gives insights into potential success, leadership capabilities, and interpersonal relationships within a workplace.

Hogan Development Survey (HDS)

HDS assesses the ‘dark-side’ of an individual’s personality prevalent during times of stress. Where an individual is strained, qualities may emerge that were otherwise hidden and affect personal relationships and workplace dynamics. Employers may wish to conduct HDS to identify possible risks to the business.

Motivations, Values, and Preferences Inventory (MVPI)

The MVPI assesses personality from the inside, gaining an insight into an individual’s core values, goals and interests. This assessment is used to deploy candidates to the best fitting job, finding positions and environments suited to the individual to maximise performance.
